What is astrology?
The word
astrology originated from Greek, and
it means “constellations or stars.”
In
ancient times, peoples across many
cultures looked towards the stars
for guidance because they believed in
the interconnectedness of heaven and
earth as one: “as above, so below.”
These days with the advent of
quantum physics and growing
spiritual awakening, there is an
increasing return to the ancient
world view of the interconnectedness
of the whole universe.
The ancients
revered astrology and the Greeks
made it a scientific tool when they
began correlating the movements of
the heavenly bodies with events on
earth using newly discovered
mathematical tools and philosophical
truths, which are the roots of
modern science.
Astrology then
was recognised as a true source of
knowledge that could proffer answers
to many questions.
Astrology, as it is practised today,
is viewed fundamentally as a
psychological tool to help people
understand themselves better, so
that they can empower themselves to
create the life they desire.
At the precise
moment you were born, the heavenly
bodies form a unique matrix that is
captured in your birth chart.
By
studying the positions of these
heavenly bodies, their locations and
aspects to each other, a

traits, talents and gifts,
deep-rooted belief and value
systems, karmic issues and the

Another ancient
tool, called Horary Astrology, is
used to answer specific questions,
which can be about lost items,
relationships, major purchases,
health etc.

wedding ring?”
“Is
Jenny the right partner for me?”
“Should
I buy the property I saw this
morning?”
In short,
astrology is truly an amazing tool
that is self-empowering when used
wisely.
It is
certainly not about fortune-telling
or about predicting things that
definitely will happen.
The
future is always fluid because we
make choices with our free will.
